CVCertify is like Carfax for Careers.

What we do is help companies hire qualified candidates faster and cheaper. Our patented ProofSheet™ product allows recruiters to more efficiently find superior candidates while driving up to 30% of costs out of the current recruiting process – on the order of $2,000 in savings for a single mid-level hire. With more than 20 million white-collar hires in the U.S. annually, this amounts to a $40 billion savings opportunity.

Our platform is social, sticky and highly scalable. While we are starting with a narrow focus for beta in the Washington, DC Metro area, clearly a successful test drive inside the beltway can lead quickly to national, indeed global scale.

Recruiters pay us to access validated candidates and we also up-sell candidates with value-added services such as background checks and skills testing. We are an early stage venture on track to deliver our product to our first beta customers in Summer 2011. Our team includes veterans of successful startups like Clearspring and Inphonic as well as consulting firms Deloitte and McKinsey.
