Curb Surf is an iPhone app that allows users to find and post curb alerts using their location.
Curb Surf is simple; the main view is a map displaying different curb alerts around the user’s geographic location and all around the world. The green pins are less than 24 hours old and the red pins are older.
The pins that appear on the map are moderated by the community. Users can report posts as ‘No Longer Available’ or ‘Spam.’
User’s who have things they wish to give away can post curb alerts anonymously and free of charge. A title and GPS location are all that is required, but users can post a description and photo with their curb alert if they choose.
Curb Surf aims to inform the public of curb alerts and promote direct recycling all over the world.
