Crowded Ocean

Crowded Ocean is a marketing firm that works exclusively with startups and emerging companies. The principals — Tom Hogan and Carol Broadbent — have a unique blend of corporate (Oracle, Sun, Nortel, Lucent) and startup (AdMob, Palo Alto Networks, EndPlay, Nimble Storage, Thrutu and over 20 more) experience.

They start from a basic assumption: the goal of marketing comes down to three words — Make sales easier. If it doesn’t initiate new sales opportunities, shorten the sales cycle, or make repeat sales easier, don’t do it. That includes all aspects of the Marketing Cycle, from branding and PR to sales tools and programs.

Crowded Ocean has launched over 20 startups, helping emerging companies reconfigure themselves and accelerate their lead conversions, or repositioning a new product platform, or launching a new mobile product.
