Critical Distance is a knowledge network of consultants and practitioners. They integrate professional media strategies into established companies.
The aim is to understand how the audience to a website or mobile app engages with the content and turn that into a practical strategy for the use of photos, video, audio and text on a website or mobile app. This is done through strategic planning, competitive analysis, brainstorming, workshops and pilots. This encourages sideways thinking in organizations willing to evolve and improves their storytelling capability.
Most of the clients are either media companies or SME’s that want to use a mix of tools to engage better with their users or clients.
Critical Distance is based in Amsterdam, but regularly operates all over the world. Most recently trips have included Russia, Singapore, USA, Austria, Germany, Norway, Finland, UK, Denmark, Turkey, Spain, Poland and Czech Republic.
Critical Distance is specialized in understanding cultural sensitivities, especially when a message has to cross a border.
