Coupious is a mobile marketing platform that provides smartphone users location-based, on-demand coupons and promotional offers for area retailers. Users simply hold up their phone to the cashier for savings right at the point of sale. Retailers and affiliates manage all of their offers through a web-based management system and monitor real-time usage data and analytics.
Coupious is working with Star Tribune in Minneapolis-St. Paul to connect advertisers with consumers through the Coupious mobile application. Relationships with traditional media companies in various U.S. markets are under development.
The Coupious mobile application is currently available for iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android. BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, WebOS, and other platform support are on the way.
