Coracle provides professional development services including eLearning, podcasting and iPhone App development, particularly for the maritime sector.
Coracle provides free audio content as podcasts via www.ShippingPodcasts.com, and a range of online content distributors such as iTunes. This content comes from recording industry seminars and interviews with industry leaders, as well as converting market reports from key market participants.
Coracle will start the roll out of iPhone apps in July 09, ranging from a 9,000 term maritime glossary to an educational based ‘serious game’. The company is currently working on bespoke apps for clients in the maritime space.
Coracle believes that the combination of mobile eLearning, delivered as audio books and interactive app will change the face of education for an industry where broadband is either impossible, or prohibitively expensive.
