CoolChip Technologies is a privately held company founded in 2010, and located in Somerville, MA. The company is comprised of a team of MIT-trained engineers with expertise in semiconductors, thermal-fluid systems and thermal design, and advanced microfluidics. Our collective experience includes computer chip architecture design, electronics cooling design, CFD and CAD modeling and analysis, and manufacturing and supply-chain management expertise. Through our network of industrial partners, we have prototyping capabilities which include: CNC machining (including 5-axis), high-precision CNC turning, diamond micromachining, 3-D printing, stereolithography, laser sintering, and other basic machine shop capabilities.
