Collaborative Software Initiative (CSI), the company that introduced the market-changing collaborative approach to building and deploying software products at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods, was founded in 2007 by Stuart Cohen, a veteran IT executive and former chief executive officer at the Open Source Development Labs.

CSI offers the products to a broader base of customers under an open source license or an annual subscription which includes commercial support.
