Cogito delivers psychological sensing systems to improve engagement and detect individual risk of behavioral health problems in defined populations.

Cogito is a Boston-based technology company developing a fundamentally new way of analyzing and understanding human communication and perception. We combine a decade of MIT Human Dynamics Lab research with the latest organizational management ideas from MIT Sloan. Cogito uses advanced signal processing and computational engineering to draw out social signals exchanged in conversation and monitored through Smartphone-enabled mobile sensing systems. These signals describe distress, intent, and attitude and allow our enterprise clients to dramatically improve the value of their customer interactions.
