CloudSigma is pure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Ressource-as-a-Service (RaaS) provider offering a flexible web based and API driven platform based in Zurich, Switzerland.

CloudSigma’s system is independent of operating systems allowing users to install any operating system they like by choosing from standard server templates or uploading their own. Virtual server sizes are completely flexible with each resource being user defined without any bundling nor defined fixed server sizes.

Billing is transparent based on either subscription (pay-in-advance) and burst (pay-as-you-go) pricing models. Resources are billed independently based on current usage with a 5 minute billing and minimum usage period.

The service launched on Friday 28th May 2010.
