Citizenside is a Paris based video and photo agency that sells news-related amateur-produced content and provides participative platforms to media houses around the world.

It’s partly owned by Agence France Presse (AFP), one of the 3 biggest news agencies with AP and Reuters.

1- The company offers amateurs a place to share and sell their news content, mainly news, celebrities and sports images (Check the website)

2- Citizenside sets up ‘Citizen Reporter Platforms’ for its clients, media around the world. (ie: the biggest French Gossip Magazine, Voici.fr )

3- Citizenside sells video and photo content from its own community and from its client communities, to media houses. (ie: First images of the most famous rogue Trader ‘Jerome Kerviel’, sold to CNN, Al Jazeera, BBC, Paris Match, etc… for around 100kâ‚¬).
