Ciaobelli is a global social networking website “100% made in Italy”, launched on October 2007.

Ciaobelli was founded by three young Italian entrepreneurs with experience in the Internet and PR industries.

Ciaobelli is a private network and its membership is restricted to people whom receive an invite. Ciaobelli is for the international public who likes the “made in Italy” concept and style and is mostly used to share photo albums, information and trusted advice. The name of the site remarks the Italian style and can easily be understood from non-Italian speaking users.

The current sections and features available on the social network are:

• Profile (members can fill and edit their profile)
• Photos (My photos, Friends’ photos and public galleries). In this section users can upload an unlimited number of photos and albums, which are available for sharing with friends or with no other user at all. Photos can be “mapped” (to see who’s in a picture), commented and sent to other people
• Messages (an internal messaging system)
• One to one chat, Audio/Video based on Userplan APIs
• Categorized Blogs and photo-blogs
• People (the members area)
• Tool to import contacts from most of the free email services providers
