Chope aims to connect diners with Singapore’s top restaurants, allowing online reservations via the company’s website Chope.com.sg, mobile apps, and plug-ins for restaurant websites and Facebook pages.
Initially launched in Singapore in June of 2011 with just six restaurants, Chope has grown to over 200 restaurants in Singapore and Hong Kong.
The company offers two solutions for restaurants: a sophisticated table management system that integrates customer relationship management functions, or a lighter browser-based platform. Both allow restaurants real time control over their online availability.
In addition to online reservations, Chope.com.sg also provides diners with in-house editorials, a summary of press coverage, menus, pricing, and operational information for restaurants listed.
Finally, Chope also serves as an additional marketing channel for client restaurants via an active social media team and targeted offline marketing initiatives.
As of March 2013, more than 1.5 million diners have been seated via Chope.
