About cf/x AG
Founded in 2003 and incorporated in 2010, cf/x is a company based in Zürich, Switzerland. cf/x AG is focusing on digital media processing, artistic support and technical consulting. They provide services digitally around the world, and on-location in Switzerland.
iMovie plug-ins As part of their portfolio, cf/x began publishing digital effects for Apple’s “iMovie”, a consumer-level movie editor. In 2008, when Apple discontinued plug-in support for iMovie, cf/x had published more than 120 advanced plug-ins that are still maintained today. These plug-ins have found heavy use in many studios, homes studios and in universities and schools all over the world – and even in some unforseen venues, for example US government agencies (NASA), and security (forensics). cf/x also produced highly specialized custom plug-ins for individual private clients.
cf/x Software In 2005 cf/x decided to increase the investment in Macintosh application development, and to progress some of their in-house applications from production to market levels. In 2009, cf/x started publishing consumer and professional level applications that focus on digital media processing and distribution. These products are sold under the ‘cf/x Software’ label.
Digital media consulting, artistic support, and services cf/x AG provides a number of services revolving around media processing and provide technical and artistic support through thier affiliates.
