The Center for Future Energy Systems’ (CFES) mission is to harness cutting-edge applied research in academia to enable new energy technologies that foster economic development through collaboration and technology transfer with industry. The vision of CFES is to enable New York State to be a world leader in renewable energy and energy conversion systems and to meet its goal of producing 25% or more of its power generation through renewable energy sources by 2013.
