Cdigix is a provider of legal download services for music, movies and other content to colleges and universities. They also provide means to connect faculty and students through their flagship product, the C-Labs platform. Professors and faculty post materials online for students to access at their convenience. This learning application also makes video and audio media available in digital format, on-demand, to students from the convenience of their residence halls, homes, or computer clusters on campus. All content requires users to have their own Digital Rights Management (DRM) license delivered to their own machine will not be able to share or open the content files with anyone else. C-Labs uses Real Player v.10 – note that RealNetworks President Larry Jacobson is an advisor to the company and helped facilitate the company’s move from Denver to Seattle.
