Carrentals.com is an online car rental search engine that connects users with a variety of car rental vendors in an effort to provide competitive rates and to ensure reliable bookings. The service generates a list of the possible car rental deals based on the user’s location and preferred pick-up and drop-off dates. Placing and confirming reservations is completed on a single page. In order to make a reservation, the user needs to provide an e-mail address, first and last name, and an address. No credit card is required in order to make a reservation. Upon completion of a reservation, users receive an order confirmation number that is sent to their e-mail address (submitted along with their reservation) and access to a toll-free support number available 24 hours a day.
Carrentals.com is designed to automatically redirect users to a simplified version when accessed by a smart phone or PDA.
