Cambridge Temperature Concepts is developing technology for the continuous monitoring of human body temperature.
The first product will be the DuoFertility system, a non-hormonal and non-invasive patch that allows women to accurately identify ovulation cycles, without daily observation. The DuoFertility device can be used by couples trying to conceive in order to determine when ovulation has occurred.
CTC was started by a group of students from the University of Cambridge in England, and won both the Downing Enterprise business plan competition, providing £20,000 in seed funding, and the Cambridge University Entrepreneurs Business Creation Competition, providing £15,000 in milestone-linked grant funding.
