Buto

Buto is a web-based “software as a service” video platform for UK businesses to upload, control and measure their online video.

Buto provides the tools to allow anyone in an organisation access to professional-grade web video and a global content delivery network with private fibre-optic network for extremely fast video downloads.

Clickable video allows users to add hotspots that move and change size over time - allowing viewers to click objects and interact with the video.

Buto offers a Flash video service, and an automatic “fallback” to HTML 5 video for non-Flash devices like iPhone and iPad. The Flash player in un-branded and can be customised to match the host website.

Detailed statistics are recorded by the Buto platform and reports can be generated, similar to Google Analytics - for video.

A developer API is available for customers who wish to interface the system more deeply into their website or applications.
