BroadClip delivers a distributed software architecture for recording media and delivering it to portable media devices. BroadClip’s 1st product, MediaCatcher for Facebook allows users to easily program internet radio recording while sharing musical interests with their Facebook friends. MediaCatcher for Facebook is a social music search and recording product that operates entirely within the facebook environment. MediaCatcher allows users to search over 20,000 internet radio stations for their favorite music. Once found, the MediaCatcher background recording agent (think software TiVo) captures the desired music for the users future use on their portable media players. MobSearch capability allows users to instantly share search results with all other users, so the time required to find music is dramatically reduced. MediaCatcher includes a targeted audio ad insertion engine and a new revenue model for the webcasters and music industry.
