Boutiika is a local boutique guide, helping locals and tourists alike discover unique boutiques to shop at in different cities.
Boutiika attracts style seekers and conscious consumers on its ability to locate fashion relevant to them; today’s consumers are interested in choices that go beyond the high street and designer clichés e.g. eco-friendly/vintage/consignment/emerging designers/locally made merchandise etc. Boutiika filters through mainstream fashion to the perceived cool in shopping, unique boutiques & independent stores and enables their discovery by browsing within the parameters of a city, by location (neighborhoods) and by type of store. Boutiika furthers the journey encouraging browsing into visits by showcasing what’s new in store and bestsellers (photos of new items). A curated view of a boutique 10 or so images (in contrast to rolling product lists on ecommerce sites).
While empowering consumers to be unique by “discovery†of new places to shop, Boutiika simultaneously drives online to offline traffic for independent stores, supporting small businesses with real footfall, compelling for any local business.
Boutiika profiles each boutique with an individual page they own and can edit. Boutiika creates a community of independent boutique owners by putting them on the map, solving their biggest problem, literally. Boutiika advocates visiting the stores and the experience of browsing and trying on cloths in contrast to typical ecommerce sites.
The Boutiika user values their independent style and are by their very nature “searching†for something unique, style is individual as Boutiika is matching that demand with supply - small and local fashion businesses that are hard to keep track of.
Boutiika seeks to cater to the shopping experience at its core: Find Stores, Visit Stores, Try On, Share, Buy, Revisit. And Find New Stores. This is done by starting at the beginning of the chain “find stores”.
