Blueseed

Blueseed is a visa-free startup incubator planning to locate on a vessel anchored in international waters near the coast of Silicon Valley. Blueseed has received funding from Peter Thiel.

The vessel launch is planned for Q3 2013 and it will be anchored 12 nautical miles offshore from California (half an hour by ferry), in international waters outside the jurisdiction of the United States.

Target customers include startup entrepreneurs for whom a satisfactory U.S. work visa solution doesn’t exist, and other high-tech professionals or researchers interested in the advantages provided by Blueseed’s startup ecosystem.
