BitGravity

BitGravity’s primary service is a high-speed content delivery network suitable for streaming video or other high-bandwidth applications. BitGravity also offers an enterprise web storage solution.

Founders Barrett Lyon and Perry Wu has started a number of technology companies. Mr. Wu has been a partner at several top venture capital firms, most recently ComVentures.

In March 2008, the company announced a strategic partnership with Tata Communications, where Tata will co-brand, resell and jointly market BitGravity’s technology platform.

There are a number of companies in the content delivery space, including Akamai, BitTorrent, EdgeCast Networks, GridNetworks, Panther Express, Itiva, Mirror Image, [Internap]http://www.crunchbase.com/company/internap and Limelight Networks.
