BitGravity’s primary service is a high-speed content delivery network suitable for streaming video or other high-bandwidth applications. BitGravity also offers an enterprise web storage solution.
Founders Barrett Lyon and Perry Wu has started a number of technology companies. Mr. Wu has been a partner at several top venture capital firms, most recently ComVentures.
In March 2008, the company announced a strategic partnership with Tata Communications, where Tata will co-brand, resell and jointly market BitGravity’s technology platform.
