BinOptics Corporation manufactures monolithically integrated optoelectronic components. It offers directly modulated fabry-perot, directly modulated distributed feedback, and ring lasers; and custom integrated chips, such as edge- and surface-emitting lasers, monitoring and high-speed photodetectors, electroabsorption modulators, semiconductor optical amplifiers, beam couplers/splitters, waveguides, and on-chip lenses. The company offers its products for use in datacom and telecommunication applications, such as gigabit ethernet and PON applications, as well as advanced non-telecomunication applications. BinOptics Corporation was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Ithaca, New York.
