Bibcheck is a free bibliography formatting service. Bibcheck will properly format your research sources for most popular writing styles, including APA and MLA. These writing styles are currently in Beta, and will be completed by the winter of 2009.
The Bibcheck bibliography tool can properly format complex citations in multiple media, including Web and print. The Bibcheck citation tool can format podcasts, video/sound recordings, government publications, abstracts, published proceedings of conferences, and many other reference entries.
Bibcheck is designed to help students to properly acknowledge borrowed material for essays, dissertations, term papers, and other academic documents. Bibcheck provides the proper formatting of bibliography references so that the user can focus on content and be able to craft a well written thesis statement, clear transition paragraphs, and a strong conclusion.
The Bibcheck bibliography formatting application supports the documentation style of the Modern Language Association, detailed in the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (7th ed., 2008), the American Psychological Association (5th ed., 2001), and the APA Style Guide to Electronic References (2007).
