Bess Media and Bess Technology are international companies, based in London, specialising in online services for consumers, publishers and advertisers involved in the ‘considered purchases’ market.
The main consumer product is Pintarget.com, a semantic search engine for Members to research things they want to buy. Pintarget.com combines a scrapbook (or ‘Researcher’) for collecting search results and community generated content (such as recommendations) with a ‘question and answer’ tool for asking questions to relevant experts in the Community.
All content and search results are ranked according to the Member’s profile, activity and stated intentions in an environment sensitive to the Member’s privacy settings.
The platform has been extended to allow Member’s to interact with their research tools outside Pintarget and on Publisher’s websites. The same relevance engine is available on the advertising platform to allow advertisers to create customised ad content for Member’s researching the advertiser’s product or service.

Pintarget helps people to research online.
Pintarget saves time by inviting it’s members to bookmark and pin links, recommendations and conversations into a topic-specific Research Folder. The intelligent Research Folder learns each time something new is added and continues to search for new information. When it finds something of interest - it sends the member an alert (by email or RSS).
Members can make their Research Folders public and share their information with the Community, assisting others researching something related. An independent Concierge Team is available to Pintarget’s members to assist with any specific research requests.
