BenchBucket is a web based platform for sports minded individuals and organizations to meet and organize various athletic and fitness oriented activities. This is a social networking site geared towards people who are looking for other individuals/teams to participate and compete with in their favourite sports and activities. These can be team sports such as basketball, baseball and soccer, or individual sports such as tennis, golf, or cycling. The site will also be a platform for organizations who are hosting sporting events and tournaments to advertise their events to the people participating in their respective sports.
