Ayima is an SEO Consultancy started in mid-2007 by the former SEO team at PartyGaming (owners of PartyPoker.com). The founders have a strong background in marketing for the online poker industry and use this knowledge and skill-set at Ayima for other competitive markets.
The company has no external funding and has been profitable from its inception, acquiring clients through referrals and word of mouth. Ayima views itself as a “Consultancy” rather than an “Agency”, only hiring experienced SEO experts who then work directly with the client.
Founders of the company include Mike Nott, who was the former Head of Search at PartyGaming and Rob Kerry, known in the online marketing industry as “evilgreenmonkey” and a prominent figure in the SEO community.
Ayima’s main office is based in London, although in 2009 the company branched out into the United States with Tony Spencer heading up a North Carolina office.
