Audanika

Audanika’s first product, SoundPrism, is a digital music instrument that enables users to play harmonic sounds regardless of their prior knowledge or experience with musical instruments or harmonic theory. SoundPrism was released in August 2010 for the iPad and the iPhone. Audanika released SoundPrism Pro in 2011 which allows users to connect their iOS devices with existing equipment via Core Midi over Wifi and USB to use the interface in more professional settings.

Audanika was founded in 2010 by former researchers from the German Fraunhofer IDMT which invented the MP3 coded before. During his research, CTO Dr. Gabriel Gatzsche has invented the new layout for harmonic sounds and later patented this technology. Audanika was founded by a group of Fraunhofer employees.
