Ask.com is the #5 search engine behind Google, Yahoo, MSN, and AOL. Ask.com was originally known as AskJeeves and specialized in natural language search. In Sept 2001, the company acquired Teoma Technologies, and began shifting Ask’s algorithms away from natural language search. Ask.com’s ads are served by Google. The revenue they generate for Google accounts for 10 percent of Google’s revenue from partners.
