On March 13, 2008, AOL Internet division announced their plans to buy social network Bebo for $850 million in cash. Bebo has a global membership of about 40 million users and is one of the top social networks in the United Kingdom. It is No. 3 in the United States behind News Corp’s MySpace and Facebook. Xdrive provides Xdrive Desktop Lite client to access Xdrive. Xdrive Desktop Lite utilizes Adobe AIR technology, which allows users to upload files and folders right from their hard drive, desktop, USB devices, or removable storage drives directly into their Xdrive web storage.
