Originally formed as a business unit of Philips, Anteryon was spun off in 2006 as a fully independent entity focused on hybrid replicated lenses and laser modules. Anteryon BV was formerly known as Philips Optics and changed its name to Anteryon BV in 2006. The company was founded in 1943 and is based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
