aniBoom is a cartoon aggregator with the hope of finding the next South Park from a community of animation enthusiasts.

Much like the YouTube of Cartoons, aniBoom allows you to upload as many of your animations as you’d like and even has a revenue share plan to give back to its animators as well as significant competition prizes. The site has stiff competition in MyToons, yet it has still managed to attract some very high quality animations. In addition to content that has been created professionally or by skilled artists, aniBoom offers its own animation tools for people who would like to get into the scene. The site’s community seems to be heavily run by experienced animators, but aniBoom’s tools should help even things out.aniBoom uploaders keep a profile displaying their basic info and their portfolio of work. This “BOOMzone” is essentially a generic social networking profile, but stripped down to little more than the body of work and viewing statistics. Only users who upload their own content will have a BOOMzone page.aniBoom hosted videos are embeddable, and will eventually be found on your TV, mobile phone and in your PC game according to the company.

Animal Nation is aniboom´s best cartoon by far, they should keep it going.

it must be having serious problems on its core. aniboom's radiohead contest has become a scam, and administrators are handling it terribly. if they are really been bought by youtube Id be very glad... cant see any other possible solutions to the problem aniboom has become.

What happened to aniboom?! It was a really cool place to check out the best in animation for awhile. Recently, however, they 'updated' their site, the video player doesn't work, the site stats have dropped dramatically and they refuse to respond to questions or inquiries from their OWN content providers (I happen to know a few of them, and they are NOT happy). What a complete shame...I'll bet they sell out to YouTube and become one of the many nameless rabble of mediocre content providers. So sad.
