AlphaPoint Technology developed AssetCentral - a unique Visual IT Asset Management software. It is an operational, not ITIL related tool, that enables data center managers and IT Infrastructure Managers to accurately count, track, and manage all physical IT assets.
Using web-hyperlinking technology, AssetCentral turns any floorplan into a living asset map. From floor to rack to desk, every asset is accounted for both in physical location and from a comprehensive overview library perspective. The open API structure enables a multitude of third-party tools to be integrated providing a holistic and single point view of all assets. Tools can be RFID, GPS tracking, network management/monitoring, auto-discovery, power/environmental management, CRM, and more.
AssetCentral for the Data Center provides visualization at the rack level, visual & metrical weight capacity tracking, and power accounting capacity tracking.
