Alchemy is a French company specialized in the development of softwares and computer services since 1996.
Alchemy develops, publishes, distributes and hosts multimedia databases with its Digital Asset Management software, Phraseanet. Phraseanet is an Open Source DAM software distributed under GNU Public License 3 since March, 2010. The software is web based, built on standard technologies (Php, MySQL, Apache) and is intended for managing multimedia content: pictures, videos, sounds, PDF documents. This DAM system has 7 interfaces, such as a thesaurus, an administration interface and statistics.
