The Advanced Biotechnology Incubator provides wet laboratory and office space to start-up and early stage biotechnology companies. The Incubator is currently 24,000 square feet and will be expanding to 50,000 square feet to meet increasing tenant demand. Companies located at the Incubator have access to university resources including basic and clinical scientists, specialized research facilities, the medical and scientific library, seminars and graduate students. The property is owned and operated by SUNY Downstate Medical Center, the only academic medical center in Brooklyn. The target industries are biosciences and biotechnology.
SUNY Downstate is a supporting member of the Business Incubator Association of New York State.
