7digital is a privately held company based in central London, UK and is backed by Benchmark Capital, the venture capital firm behind eBay and other leading technology companies.

7digital is the UK’s leading digital media delivery company, catering for record companies, artists, film and TV companies as well as other digital media owners throughout the world. In March of 2008, the company secured the first deal to exclusively sell Warner Music’s full catalogue of DRM-free music across Europe.The site already had a deal to sell EMI’s DRM-free music and is also negotiating with Sony BMG and Universal.
