51Sim

Our name 51Sim reflects our goal, sustainability, as 51 sounds like “I want” in Mandarin and Sim is an acronym for “Sustainable Innovation Movement.” 51Sim fosters sustainable innovation in China, specifically through three main initiatives: Sustainable Innovation Student Competition (SISC), Kaiche, and 51Tree. These programs encourage young people in China to make sustainable lifestyle decisions. Together these three projects work toward changing the next generation’s lifestyle by integrating environmental consciousness into business, entertainment, and consumption through online media platforms. 51Sim works for Chinese youth, who are passionate about creating sustainable development projects and an environmentally conscious future, by providing them online media platforms that offer accessible means of developing innovative projects, exciting opportunities to integrate environmental action into every aspect of life, and a supportive environmentally concerned community.
