AppLogic is a cloud computing platform produced by 3tera and used by service providers and enterprises to provide Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, Software-as-a-Service, and virtual data center services.
AppLogic is available to both enterprises for building in-house private clouds as well as to service providers who wish to offer cloud computing services.
The system is unique in being a turnkey platform, ready to provide service within hours of download. Only standard servers and Gigabit Ethernet are required. SAN functionality and network security are provided by the system. Also, to simplify operation of the cloud, AppLogic combines management of virtualization, networking, storage, and users into a single operator interface.
AppLogic also offers complete cloud management for subscribers. The system allows IT professionals to develop and deploy online applications in minutes instead of weeks, all without coding. Existing code runs without modification, and common infrastructure components unnavailable in other clouds such as load balancers and firewalls are included in the standard AppLogic catalog. Management, monitoring and even scaling on demand are all provided via the AppLogic visual interface.
