1Job.co.uk is a job search engine that seeks out and aggregates job search results originating from major job boards, recruitment agencies and employers in the UK and Ireland.
Job sites can sign up to have their jobs added directly to the 1Job site and the 1Job search engine will collect their job adverts automatically each day.
Jobseekers can choose to search the 1Job site by: category and location search; browse by ‘drill-down’ (through location and job type); or by full keyword search facilities. They can also choose to receive job alerts directly to their email inbox.
Job Advertisers pay only for click-thrus by jobseekers directly to the full job descriptions on their own company websites, and they therfore retain and control all job application activity to their jobs.
The company also operates highly successful Apps on the iPhone and Android mobile platforms under the name of “UK Jobs”.
