Founded in 1997, 1E is a Green IT and PC power management software company. Its products include NightWatchman, WakeUp, Useful Work, Drowsy Server (part of the NightWatchman Server solution) and Computer Health. The company’s technology is aimed at reducing IT costs and increasing efficiency.
1E is headquartered in London and New York and with 14 million licenses deployed world-wide, at 1100 organizations in 42 countries. To date 1E’s energy efficiency solutions have helped its customers save in excess of $530m in energy costs alone, cutting CO2 emissions by 4.3 million tons.
The company’s customers include public and private sector organizations like: AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Dell, HSBC, ING, Nestlé, Microsoft, BNP Paribas, Nomura, Ford Motor Company, the US Department of Veterans Affairs and the UK Department of Work and Pensions.
The company’s largest customers have over 300,000 seats, and smallest just 500.
