Launched in 2006, 111 Pictures Ltd is a UK-based independent production and international sales company formed by filmmaker, actor and business tycoon Alki David and veteran film producer Elliott Kastner.
As well as his entertainment interests, David has significant corporate interests. He is a major shareholder in the Athens-based Leventis-David Group, worth in excess of $8 billion and recently sold his shipping company in 2006 to Navios Maritime Inc for $750 million. He also co-owns ICM Models, one of the UK’s most successful modelling agencies, formed with ICM Chairman Duncan Heath in 2004.
111 Pictures develops funds and produces a diverse array of feature films and reality shows, geared towards the theatrical and TV markets. It also acquires existing motion pictures for distribution throughout the world.
